For sensors and in-cultured demons 'pure' means not 'clean'. It means 'undiluted'. So, a person with 'a pure soul' isn't automatically 'a good person', it's just s/he can produce powerful and non-complex, easily comprehensible and 'gettable' emotions. For highly emotion-developed creatures such species are pretty comfortable to be around with.
